as "unspecial" as they become with mods giving mages/warriors the ability to open chests and with pickpocketing being a skill any class can invest in. DA is the last game I've played where the rogue/thief has actual rogue/thief skills. Every fantasy-setting game I play I tend to try rogue/thief first- enjoyed it the most in DAO too (though not DA2/DAI).
